Fern works closely with the Board of Management Trustees, County Chairman and County Officer team to manage all aspects of Devon FYFC. As our Designated Safeguarding Lead, Fern supports the welfare of our members and volunteers.

She has worked extensively with young people in her career as a secondary teacher and then in the youth work and charity sectors.

When not in the office, you can usually find her on the moors with her collie.

Denise is normally your first point of contact for all things admin and finance and also manages the county’s membership process.

During her career she has formally worked in education, the charity sector and industry giving her knowledge of all aspects of business, charity and working with young people.

When not at work you can normally find Denise helping out on the family arable farm or spending time with her family.
