Due to continued success and growth, Stags online/on site sales and livestock markets department require an accounts/financial administrator. The role is office based in our South Molton town office alongside other members of the agricultural sales team. The role is ideally full time, but flexible hours would be considered. Knowledge of agricultural sales is advantageous and candidates must be numerically literate, accurate, interested in figures, be IT literate, having some experience of Excel and be able to work both on their own and as part of a team.

Tractor driver

Tractor driver required mid-March until late October but can be flexible on dates. The role entails carrying out a variety of tractor driving tasks such as destoning, cultivations, fertiliser spreading, irrigation, carting, harvest and telehandler work. This role may suit someone planning on going travelling in the autumn or there is the potential for it to become permanent.

 

Harvest Assistant 

Harvest assistant required from early July through until late September. Main role will be tractor driving carting, bulbs, potatoes and cereals along with forklift and telehandler work, topping, cultivations and grain handling.

 

Requirements for both roles are a good degree of tractor competence, the ability to work as part of a team and on your own when required, commitment and a willingness to put the hours in when required. We will provide training where required including telehandler and forklift certification. Pay according to experience. Self-catered, shared, onsite accommodation available.

 

Agricola Growers Ltd farm 3500 acres in South East Cornwall based at Antony near Torpoint. We grow potatoes, onions, daffodils and combinable crops as well as keeping cattle and sheep. The business runs a modern fleet of John Deere tractors and up to date equipment.
